Developing your senior team?

Give your leaders support that extends beyond your organisation.

The Forum gives experienced leaders in your team access to an independent, confidential peer group, highly personalised leadership coaching and the challenge and perspective that can be difficult to provide internally.

We can explore the right membership for one individual or several members of your senior team, based on each leader's responsibilities, development priorities and readiness.

Discuss leadership development for your team

Exclusive to Principal Membership

When an important priority cannot afford to stall.

Principal Members can use up to three hours each month as a flexible allocation of Gavin's time. Bring a live organisational issue, paper, plan or meeting. Gavin can review and challenge the work, help structure a response, facilitate a focused session or support implementation over several months.

Make a sound decision

Evaluate options and business cases

Compare possible courses of action, test risks and trade-offs, and strengthen the case for investment, change or growth.

Prepare for Board or Executive scrutiny

Review a paper, proposal or plan, challenge its assumptions and prepare for an important stakeholder discussion.

Turn strategy into action

Plan change and implementation

Translate strategic intent into phased delivery, clarify responsibilities and assess readiness, dependencies and risks.

Improve operating effectiveness

Review structures, roles, workflows, processes and KPIs to identify barriers and develop practical improvements.

Strengthen leadership and teams

Align a senior team

Use a focused session to clarify priorities, ownership, accountability and the behaviours needed to work effectively together.

Facilitate an important conversation

Bring independent challenge or neutral facilitation to a Board, Executive Team, away day or difficult organisational issue.

The examples are indicative. Strategic Support is tailored to the member's priorities and does not include regulated legal, financial, tax, accountancy or employment-law advice.

What makes the Forum work

Trust creates the conditions. Members create the value.

Each Forum is carefully constituted and facilitated. Its value deepens through six shared commitments that allow leaders to speak candidly, challenge thoughtfully and learn generously from one another.

Commitment to presence

Show up fully.

Attend consistently, arrive prepared and give the conversation your full attention.

Reciprocal contribution

Ask and contribute.

Bring your own challenges and offer your experience, perspective and support to others.

Confidentiality without exception

Protect what is shared.

Keep every sensitive discussion within The Forum so members can speak with confidence and candour.

Respectful challenge

Be honest and constructive.

Question assumptions, surface difficult truths and challenge the thinking without diminishing the person.

Personal ownership

Turn insight into action.

Take responsibility for your decisions, commitments and the progress you choose to make.

Stewardship of the community

Strengthen the whole Forum.

Help sustain a generous, inclusive and trusted community in which every member can contribute.

Membership is selective because the right combination of people, perspectives and shared intent matters.

Frequently asked questions

Before we speak.

Practical answers about the Forum experience, membership and what happens when you enquire.

The membership experience

How are Forum meetings delivered?

Meetings are held online, once each calendar month, and are facilitated to create candid dialogue, useful challenge and clear commitments.

How large is each group?

Each Forum is limited to a maximum of 16 members so every voice can be heard and relationships can deepen over time.

How long is the monthly Forum meeting?

Forum meetings are held once each calendar month. The exact meeting length and schedule are confirmed for the group before membership begins.

Are members grouped by time zone?

Yes. As a fully remote experience, each Forum is scheduled around a practical shared time zone so members can participate consistently.

What happens if I miss a leadership coaching session?

Each membership includes one leadership coaching session per calendar month. Unused sessions do not accumulate or roll into future months.

Can Principal Strategic Support hours roll forward?

No. Principal Members receive up to three hours each calendar month. Unused hours do not accumulate and all preparation, delivery and follow-up time counts towards the allocation.

Sponsorship and joining

Can an organisation sponsor membership for a senior leader?

Yes. An organisation can sponsor one or several senior leaders. Each person joins the Forum best matched to their responsibilities and development needs, subject to mutual fit.

How is confidentiality handled when an organisation sponsors membership?

The confidentiality of Forum and leadership coaching conversations remains fundamental. Any objectives, progress updates or sponsor involvement are agreed clearly with the member at the outset.

How do I know which membership is right for me?

The confidential first conversation explores the responsibility you carry, the support you need and the group in which you are most likely to contribute and benefit.

Am I committing to a long contract?

Membership runs monthly, with no minimum contract term unless something different is agreed with you in writing.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

We arrange a confidential conversation to understand the responsibility involved, the support required and whether The Forum offers the right mutual fit. If it does, the next step is an invitation and onboarding.
